Where they started
Colorado Youth Outdoors runs on a lean team and a big mission — and like most nonprofits, far too much of their time went to manual work. Information lived scattered across spreadsheets, documents, and inboxes with no single place to see it or make sense of it, and pulling anything useful out of that pile meant someone reading and re-keying it by hand. They didn't need another software subscription bent to fit; they needed a system built around how they actually work.
What we built
We built a custom internal portal — designed around their workflow rather than forced into someone else's template. Everything lives in one place behind a clean, role-aware interface. The difference is the AI layer: instead of staff manually reading and summarizing content, the portal processes it automatically, extracts the insights that matter, and surfaces them where the team can act on them. It runs on a modern, secure stack (Next.js and Supabase) with the AI working server-side, and it's architected to grow as the organization does.
