1991 – 2006
He liked football, Pokémon, and his PlayStation. He also taught himself to program as a child and used that skill, deliberately and for years, on something he thought mattered more than himself.
He is buried in Assisi. His feast day is 12 October. People call him the patron of the internet.

Born in London on 3 May, to Italian parents. The family moved to Milan soon after.

Teaches himself to code. He is eleven, working from manuals meant for university students.
- 2004
Begins cataloguing Eucharistic miracles online: more than 150 of them, by country and date, in nearly twenty languages, with maps, video, and a virtual museum. The Church later recognises the site as a genuine instrument of instruction.

Dies of leukaemia in Monza on 12 October, aged fifteen. He offers his suffering for the Pope and the Church.
- 2020
Beatified in Assisi on 10 October, where he is buried in jeans and sneakers.
- 2025
Canonised on 7 September in St Peter’s Square by Pope Leo XIV, alongside Pier Giorgio Frassati. The first saint of the millennial generation.
