Custom website vs Wix or Squarespace: which is better?
Wix and Squarespace are fine for a simple, low-budget starter site you build yourself. A custom, hand-coded site is better when speed, ranking, and standing out matter. It loads faster, is built for SEO, and does not look like the templates your competitors use. The right choice depends on your goals.
Template builders win on upfront cost and DIY convenience. The trade-offs show up later: slower load times, generic designs shared by thousands of businesses, and SEO limits that make ranking harder in a competitive market.
Acutix builds custom, hand-coded sites, no page-builder bloat, which is why they load in under a second, rank for local searches, and look like nobody else’s. If your website is a serious lead source, custom usually pays for itself; if it is a placeholder, a builder may be enough. The free preview shows you the difference on your own homepage.
